It is about time I took the leap to officially introduce myself! I am Janeta Campbell, an accountant by career choice, but some might say definitely not in personality!

I am not your average accountant. I like to make a joke, have a laugh and change the stigma around boring books and taxes. I am interested in your numbers and I teach you how you can get excited about them too!

Having worked in the accounting industry for over 20 years, I have been privileged to work with a range of businesses, from micro-businesses all the way up to multi-million dollar enterprises, and everything in-between. I love forming relationships with my clients and understanding their needs and what really drives them. While of course I assist with everything accounting and tax related, I specialise in small business sustainability, compliance and cash flow management.

Four years ago, I took a chance to make a change and start my own accounting business, while raising my small family and helping run our own family farming business. With this move, I gained flexibility for my family, it also allowed me to concentrate on addressing what I still see, an overwhelming need for more holistic support for small businesses.

The load a small business owner takes on is huge, as well as adding in financial stress, it can all just get too overwhelming. I have lost count of how many times I have witnessed how financial stress breaks down a business owners mental health and well-being. This is what drives me to do what I can to help. I see a need for someone to hold the business owners hand to navigate through the rough roads and help make business life easier. To give business owners more knowledge and understanding about their own business, to empower them and steer them toward success.

So…fast-forward 4 years…here I am! I am now running my own small business doing exactly what I love to do…giving business owners the tools to help drive their business toward a successful future. My favourite thing about what I do…seeing the weight lift off my clients’ shoulders when they understand their numbers and their compliance requirements and have a clear road ahead.

The most important thing I need to tell you…from everything I have experienced working with clients, I have been busy working on an exciting new program that will be launching soon…
